Sigma Chapter is proud to have adopted a highway that is cleaned up every semester to help keep Ames beautiful.
Sigma Pi is the only Greek letter organization with an international service program, The ACE Project, specifically designed to give back to our host institutions. Sigma Chapter in recent years has done Random Acts of Kindness Week (RAK Week). RAK Week has the goal to give back to Iowa State’s campus which has given Sigma Chapter so much. For RAK Week we have given back by providing snacks to ISU’s administration, Inter-Fraternal Council, and Collegiate Panhellenic Council. We also have written positive messages to students for students to find on their desk unexpectedly to wish them luck on finals. We have also given out free ice cream to students during finals week to brighten their day. In previous years we have helped to clean up the on-campus daycare center.
Sigma Pi participates in homecoming events with all of the Greek Community including Yell Like Hell and ExCYtement in the Streets.
Sigma Pi participates in all events in Greek Week including dingle dangle donut, bed racer, dizzy duck, LARPing, VESPER awards and lip sync.
Brotherhood is an important aspect of social excellence for Sigma Pi. There are many brotherhood events including: annual football games, brotherhood bonfires, holiday events, sports and camping.
